Invite Your Lodge’s Widows and Arrange for Transportation - Please announce this event in Lodge and make every effort to contact all Widows. If possible, the Lodge (or an individual) should sponsor the Ladies who attend. You may also need to provide transportation for some individuals. A Widow is defined as a lady who was married to a Master Mason, now deceased, even if she has re-married.
Lodge Escorts - At least TWO (2) Brothers from each Lodge should be present at
Red Fedele's Brook House by 11 a.m. to greet the Widows and escort them to a table.
Widows Pins - Widows Pins should be given to new Widows in attendance and to others who never received them. They are available through Grand Lodge Sales; the Masonic Service Bureau also has a small quantity available. A Lodge Representative should bring these Pins, which will be presented by the Master or his designee.
Every effort is being made to make this a wonderful day for our special Ladies. They look forward to this event and we thank you for your cooperation in making this Luncheon so successful. We also encourage any of your Lodge members to attend if they so desire; they are always welcome.
Fraternally,
Committee Members for the Widows Luncheon
